Rotary Youth Exchange Sailing Day

Royal Motor Yacht Club, Broken Bay

Here’s your chance to participate in a real Australian Yacht Race on Pittwater sponsored by the
Royal Motor Yacht Club


WHERE:  46 Prince Alfred Parade, Newport
Note: Venue is the
Royal Motor Yacht Club – NOT the other nearby yacht club.

WHEN:  11.00 AM    The day finishes about 5.00 PM.

WHO:  Open to Youth Exchange Students in District 9680. (Sorry but there isn’t enough room for host parents or other visitors).  

WHAT:  You’ll get a detailed safety briefing at 11 am, and then will be assigned to a boat in the race.  The races begin at 1.00 pm and should finish about 4.00 pm.  Afterwards, there will be a barbecue and presentations.  No prior experience is needed.

WHAT TO BRING:  Non-slip, non-marking shoes, water bottle, hat, sun screen, jacket, and wet weather gear if rain is likely.
